Daddy's Little Wrestler

Roger's Daddy is a big wrestling fan!
Roger's Mommy has never seen a wrestling match.
Last night as they were off to the AllState I got to spend the evening with Roger.

Roger is a little too young to go, but I thought he should at least dress the part.

One thing I see that Roger loves to do is pound his toys on the coffee table, that is until he spots the books.

I think he will be a reader like his Mommy - He loves his books.

He is ready for his cage match - oh wait, No - he just wants the outlet!!

The elbow pads did come in handy as he wandered all around the room looking for things that maybe his Grandma forgot about: aka, purse, camera case, and my bottle of water. He found them all. Roger is growing and changing so fast. His own little personality is shining through.

Visiting Matthew's house he will sing this out and if your lucky even dance his part.
I always thought he got that way from his Mother.
Nope - seems he learned this from his Grandma Sharen.

We didn't have digital camera way back then, but you get the idea.

Zip Lock bags

Standing around Carrie's center island in her kitchen last weekend as Carrie was putting away the leftovers into zip lock bags Dave commented on her obsession with this product.

His cousin, Eric, agreed that they too have way too many boxes of zip lock bags in their house as well.

ALL the women laughed - see you can never have too many zip lock bags. Never....
Then we proceeded to list all that you can use them for and concluded that They are good for anything.

Here is a list just from my sewing room of things stored in my zip lock bags all labeled

curved, regular and "T" safety pins
"Made by" tags
patterns (including one received from Sharen for a teddy bear in a zip lock bag)
Quilt tops (3 - I'm headed to the quilt rack with one this afternoon for quilting)
bobbins - ones for each machine - wouldn't want to get them mixed up
buttons, lots of buttons
snaps for diapers - colored sorted in their own little bags in a bag
material cut for my next quilt into bags sorted by size and color (been using these same bags awhile)
needles for machine and hand sewing
elastic
rick rack
bindings
Velcro
lace
all sorted
OK this might be a little extreme and I can't believe I am admitting to it, but I have a bag of zip lock bags waiting for my next project :)

A organized women can NEVER have too many zip lock bags!!!!

Sox? or Cubs?

Will Roger want to go with his Papa to Wrigley field and watch his beloved Cubs with him?

OR...

Will he go hang with his Grandma at the Cell and watch the good guys in Black and White?

He is a little small to be taken to a ball game and I am pretty sure right now he could care less which team his Daddy has on the TV.

BUT whatever game is on the TV he will be prepared to dress appropriately for the occasion in his logo diapers. I am not too sure if this is not an infringement, but ya gotta love them!
