Saturday after Mike and I watched the boys play baseball and the yard was done we got cleaned up to go out for dinner.
"Why don't we head into the city and sit at a sidewalk restaurant and have some beers and people watch? Then we can surprise Mary at her party!"
So that is just what the old folks did. We headed down to Lincoln Square. That place was CRAZY. I called Bryan to find out if he was there and he and Pat were headed over - Mary was there someplace. Mike and I hid out at the entrance and in walks Bryan - I snuck up behind him and surprised him.
While he and Pat went to find Mary Mike and I took a walk around town. (We had to feed the meter).
We sat at Ricochets to wait for the party and do some more people watching.
We only stayed till 9:15 or so and then headed on home. We stopped for something to eat at the Golden Nugget on Irving Park.
All in all a good Date!!! Sure beat sitting at home channel surfing.
