Logan's Day

We took advantage of Logan being off for spring break to have our "birthday day" with him.
We are planning on being gone for his birthday party and actual birthday.
The day started with lunch with Papa at Portillo's. Me, I am not a big fan of the place, but they both love the hamburgers so it was lunch before the "GI Joe movie".
They took in the first movie of the day and only has to share the ultra screen, 3d movie with one other family. They both thought it was an awesome adventure flick.

Next stop we head on over to Walmart and buy Logan an xbox game and an extra controller. What good is having friends over if they can't play along with you. (I guess gone are the days where you sat and cheer your buddies on while you watch them play and TOOK TURNS)

We thought about going to the castle (Village Squire) for dinner and I talked them into making homemade pizzas instead. So we bought supplies for that too.

When we take the grand kids for their birthday's most every time it is just Mike taking them to the movie. Well Logan thought it would be cool to watch a movie with Grandma, so we got Parental Guidance on demand. All Logan's idea!
We all thought it was funny in different ways. It is a great movie to watch with your grand kids. Logan pointed out a few times that Bette Midler could be playing me. Playing in the rain, dancing and singing in the kitchen and most definitely telling off the violin teacher.

Flaming Cheetos, taco Doritos, and birthday cake were the movie snacks. All before dinner - man I love being a grandma when the parents aren't around.

Finished products
Guess who's pizza is who's?

Pizza one - Pepperoni, sausage and 2 kinds of cheese
Pizza two - Pepperoni, sausage, ham and 2 kinds of cheese
Pizza three - tofu crumble, mushrooms, broccoli, and WW string cheese

After dinner Mike ordered ANOTHER movie - The Hobbit, but poor Logan fell asleep before it was over.
Thanks for spending the day with us Logan.
